About Amida Sopra

Founded in 2014, Amida Sopra is an interior design studio headquartered in Rome's Trastevere neighbourhood. Our name reflects the Italian tradition of building upon what came before — honouring architectural heritage while introducing thoughtful contemporary interventions.

Our Philosophy

We believe exceptional interiors emerge from restraint. Rather than imposing a signature style, we listen to how clients live, study the bones of each space, and select materials that age gracefully. Travertine, linen, brass, and hand-finished plaster feature prominently in our work.

Rome & Beyond

While most projects are located within Rome and the Lazio region, we regularly collaborate with clients renovating second homes in Tuscany, Umbria, and the Amalfi Coast. Our team includes architects registered with the Ordine degli Architetti di Roma and certified project managers.

Recognition

Our Palazzo Navona Residence was featured in Domus Italia (2024), and we received the AD100 Emerging Studio nomination in 2025. We maintain partnerships with local artisans specialising in marble inlay, Venetian plaster, and bespoke cabinetry.
